I was hoping this would happen and it did! The film Monsieur Lazhar has been nominated at the Oscars and will be representing Canada in the “Best Foreign-Language Film” category. Congratulations to Quebec filmmaker Philippe Falardeau who wrote and directed the film and to all the cast and crew!
