The Titanic Museum in Belfast

So if you decide to visit Belfast, Northern Ireland, this summer, why not stop by the new museum, Titanic Belfast. The building has six floors dedicated to the famous ocean liner with nine interactive rooms, each with its own theme: Boomtown Belfast, The Shipyard, The Launch of Titanic, Fitting Out the Ship, Maiden Voyage, The Sinking, The Aftermath, Myths & Legends, Visit and Explore the Wreck, Oceanic Exploration Centre. If you do decide to visit the city, don’t forget to check out the many events that will be commemorating the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic.

Here’s a fourth exhibition that’s taking place during the event Collectionner, at City Hall. The City of Montreal will show its municipal collection which is composed of more than 600 works of art, both historical and contemporary. 25 ANS ET DEMI-Publicité Sauvage at the Cinémathèque québécoise

The fifth installment of Publicité Sauvage is on this week at the Cinémathèque québécoise from April 4th to April 29th, 2012. In this exhibition, co-curated by Alain Gauthier with Marc H. Choko, visitors will get to see Quebec movie posters created by a generation of artists from the 1980’s and 1990’s who opened the rigid standards imposed by the film studios since the 1920’s. If you wish to see it, the exact location of the Cinémathèque québécoise is:

335, boul. De Maisonneuve East, Montreal – 514-842-9763 – Berri-UQAM metro station (De Maisonneuve exit)

From Monday to Friday, 10 am until closing time.

Saturday and Sunday, from 4 pm until closing time.

Free entrance.
